Young Filmmakers Capture EMBERS’ Story
We are honoured to have been selected by high school students Graham, Jeremy, Jerry, Milo, Martin, and Simon from Priism Media for St. John’s School’s Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) program.
YPI is a competition that grows compassionate communities by connecting youth to social issues, local charities, and philanthropy. Teams of students select a charity to research and present to judges and have an opportunity to win a prize for their charity of choice.
The team from Priism Media produced a short film as part of their YPI presentation, and they featured former EMBERS Staffing Solutions workers Stephen, Mike, and Heriberto as well as EMBERS’ founder and CEO, Marcia Nozick.
Watch the video they’ve created to learn why work is powerful:
These students did a spectacular job in showcasing the work EMBERS does in creating positive change in the community by helping thousands of people become economically self-sufficient. As a result of their efforts, they advanced to the finals!
We are thankful for their sponsorship and are delighted to have worked with them on this project.
