Marcia Chats About What “Heal the Divide” Means to Her
EMBERS is thrilled to have been a part of the conversation for the new Vancouver Biennale public art installation. Our own Marcia Nozick was invited to speak about what “Let’s Heal the Divide” means to her. As Marcia shares some stories of her own and of our EMBERS workers, she touches on the fact that while healing the divide may be difficult to do at the extreme ends of the spectrum, there’s movement in the middle. EMBERS lives in that middle space where we serve as a bridge for people who are ready to turn their lives around: “No one is impossible to turn around,” Marcia stresses – it’s simply a matter of the right resources at the right time.
