Donate to EMBERS

Everyone deserves an opportunity to earn an income and live a productive life. Your donation can help us provide people in Vancouver who have suffered setbacks, or who are starting over in life, with the critical support and training they need to reach the goal of self-sufficiency. Through your charity donations to EMBERS, you are giving people a hand-up to create a better future for themselves and their families. Make a one-time donation today to change the lives of people living in poverty in your Vancouver community through the power of work!

Cheques can be written to ‘EMBERS’ and mailed or brought to our head office. If you want to donate cash, we request that you deliver your gift in person to any of our offices.

Please note where you would like your donation directed. Otherwise, donations will go to our general fund to support our various program needs.

How Your Monthly Donations Can Help

Monthly donation commitments are a great way to help EMBERS throughout the year. These commitments can help us better prepare for the year ahead.

A $20 monthly donation can help EMBERS build our tool and gear lending library, helping us provide individuals with equipment such as hard hats, gloves and boots to enable them to enter the job site and begin earning.
A $50 monthly donation can help to provide financial literacy education to a low-income individual, helping them to make long-term behaviour changes for a more productive future.
A $100 monthly donation can help EMBERS provide venture capital to deserving Vancouver-area microenterprises.
