EMBERS is a Vancouver charity that supports the Downtown Eastside community through its three divisions: EMBERS Staffing Solutions, EMBERS Green Renovations and EMBERS Ventures programs. We are proud to host and participate in a number of Vancouver charity events each year to help those in need of support and resources.
This year, EMBERS is hosting our 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Greenacres Golf Course in Richmond. This is our largest fundraising event of the year. Last year we brought in over $40,000 and this year we are hoping to top that! We would love to see you on the course for this year’s tournament and banquet.
EMBERS will be hosting its 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament event at Greenacres Golf Course in Richmond. Following the success of our 2013 tournament, in large part thanks to our wonderful sponsors and players, we raised close to $35,000! In 2014 we are shooting for the stars with our goal to out-golf and out-shine our 2013 tournament.
The Social EnterPrize awards were created to recognize and celebrate leadership and excellence in social entrepreneurship across Canada by the Trico Foundation. This year, EMBERS was recognized as Canada’s #1 social enterprise in the under $1M category. The award was presented at the 2013 Social Enterprise World Forum, in Calgary by the Trico Foundation.
